Quickies
Code of conduct

The short version: be someone people are glad to sit across from.

A Quickies night only works if everyone in the room feels comfortable. That is not a nice-to-have, it is the whole product. Here is what we expect, and what we will do about it if it does not happen.

What we expect from you

Not matching is not a grievance

Nobody owes you a match, a heart, a phone number, or a reason. If someone did not tap you, that is the end of it. Do not ask the host who liked you, and do not try to find someone who did not match with you afterwards. The private part of this stays private, permanently.

If something feels wrong

Tell the host. They are running the room and they would much rather hear it during the night than read about it a week later. You do not need proof, you do not need to be sure, and you will not be talked out of it.

You can also email hello@quickies.com any time, before or after an event. If you would rather not be identified, say so and we will work with that.

If you are in immediate danger, call 911 first. We will follow up after.

What we do about it

We take the account of the person who felt unsafe seriously, and we act on it. Depending on what happened, that means a private word, removal from the event without a refund, or a permanent ban from Quickies nights. We do not require the person raising it to confront anyone, and we do not make them explain themselves to the person they are reporting.

We would rather lose a ticket sale than keep someone in the room who is making it worse. That is a standing policy, not a case-by-case judgment call.
